Where to Buy Stationery in Dubai: Shops, Hypermarkets and Online Options
21 October 2026
Dubai has plenty of places to buy stationery, from specialist stationers and bookshops to budget stores, hypermarkets and online shops. Which one suits you depends on what you need: a full school list, office supplies in bulk, art materials, or one good calculator. Here is a simple guide to the main options.
1. Online stationery shops (delivered to your door)
Ordering online saves a trip, and lets you compare brands and prices in one place. At NexuraCart Office & Stationery you can shop brands such as Deli, Faber-Castell, Casio, Camlin, Pentel and Uni, with cash on delivery and delivery across the UAE. Popular picks include:
- Scientific and desktop calculators from Casio and Deli
- Pens, markers, highlighters and sticky notes
- Desk organizers and pen holders
- Staplers, files, laminators and everyday office supplies
2. Specialist stationers and office suppliers
Dubai has long-running stationery distributors and office suppliers that stock large ranges for schools and companies, often with bulk pricing. Dubai Library Distributors, for example, has several branches across the UAE selling office supplies, school bags and art materials. These are a good choice when you need large quantities or business accounts.
3. Bookshops
Bookshops such as Al Mutanabbi (Al Batra) Bookshop and Magrudy's carry school essentials, notebooks and art supplies alongside books, and some offer online ordering. They are handy for school lists and quality notebooks.
4. Budget and lifestyle stores
Stores like Daiso Japan, Day to Day and Miniso sell cheap everyday stationery, cute pencil cases and craft items. They are great for small, low-cost buys, though brand choice is limited.
5. Hypermarkets
Carrefour and LuLu Hypermarket have large school-supply sections, especially in the weeks before the new school year, when they often run discounts. They suit families buying everything in one trip.
How to save money on stationery in the UAE
- Buy in boxes. Pens, staples and markers cost less per piece in boxes of 12 or 50.
- Shop before term starts. Prices and stock are best a few weeks before school opens.
- Check the school list first. Our back-to-school stationery list helps you avoid buying things twice.
- Choose the right calculator. Check which models your school or exam board allows before you buy.
